  • Yes. Your account ensures you will be credited for any art you draw and notified if other users use a section you’ve created.

  • YES, ABSOLUTELY! Everyone who wants to draw is welcome to join in on the fun, regardless of skill level. 🎨 🖼️

  • Colouring with restricted colour palettes can be a fun way to challenge the bounds of your creativity and inspire new ways of thinking, while not being overwhelmed by infinite colour options! Beyond the standard palette that is always available, new palettes launch weekly and are free to try out during their launch week. You can unlock them permanently with in-game currency, which can be earned by engaging with the app, watching advertisements or by purchasing through the app stores.

  • You can always share or download the art out of the app. Soon we’ll be adding a feature to DrawnTogether that will let you print your art directly onto products like t-shirts and tote bags, so stay tuned!

  • To find users in the app, enter their username in the search bar. You can also follow users, making it easy to find and view work by your favourite artists. To collaborate with one of their sections, click on the section to bring it full screen and then click the icon with 100 coins to spend that amount to work with the section. For more information check out this tutorial video here

  • We’ll be adding offline play for some functions in DrawnTogether soon, so stay tuned! Many of DrawnTogether’s features will still require an internet connection, such as selecting sections from other artists.

  • We’re sad to see you go! You can delete your account in the app by clicking Settings (☰) at the bottom-right corner of the screen, then clicking Account (gear icon). From there, click Delete Account. Warning: This action is permanent and cannot be undone. For more detailed instructions click here

If for some reason you cannot access the app and would like to request account deletion through our website you can do so at the bottom of this page by clicking here

If you delete your account, all of your art (with the exception of any sections that were used in an artwork by another user) will be deleted from the app as well, so please be sure to download your art beforehand if you want to keep it. Any sections you’ve drawn will also no longer be available for other users to combine with their own.

Terms of Use

  • Let your imagination go wild and feel free to draw whatever you’d like! We hope that collaborating with others will amplify creativity and challenge the bounds of the imagination to create unexpected and spectacular drawings. That being said, we want to foster a healthy and happy community, so we do have some content guidelines: profane, explicit and abusive content is not allowed. For our complete content guidelines, please read our Terms of Use.

  • All art made on the DrawnTogether platform is collaborative in nature. Each final DrawnTogether artwork requires three sections created by up to three different artists to become a complete image. By agreeing to our terms of use, all users acknowledge that final artworks will be jointly owned by the contributing artists. For our policy, please read our Terms of Use (Tip: you can also find it in-app in Settings > About)

  • Not currently though we’ll be exploring adding this feature to DrawnTogether soon, so stay tuned! Follow us on social media or sign up for our newsletter for the latest app news and updates.

Other

  • DrawnTogether is made by Pop Sandbox Productions and supported by the Canada Media Fund. We are a small crew based in Canada, excited to be creating a digital version of one of our favourite parlour drawing games so players can be inspired by and collaborate with others from all over the world! Thanks so much for your support and your curiosity.

  • DrawnTogether is a collaborative drawing community. Sharing artwork to spark creativity and inspire unexpected drawings is a central part of our model. Three artists create an artwork through the app, and all three artists jointly own the final artwork created in the app. We are not an NFT or NFT-related platform.

  • We know AI generated art is becoming a growing concern for many artists. We wanted to clarify for the artist community how DrawnTogether, a new social art app, works. DrawnTogether does NOT use AI to create or replicate art nor does it share user work with AI image generators.

The app is a drawing social platform that is based on the premise that collaboration can challenge the bounds of the imagination, inspiring users to create surprising and incredible works of art regardless of their skill level. Inspired by the parlour drawing game exquisite corpse, artists create a drawing and then join it with two drawings from other users to create a final artwork. All art created by app users is jointly owned by and credited to the collaborating artists only. Only artists who have contributed to an artwork can download and use the art.

We love art and the humans behind all the wonderful masterpieces we see. It is important to us that you understand how we work because your art belongs to you, and your collaborators.

  • Thanks for asking! The best way to support DrawnTogether is to draw lots of awesome pictures on the app and share them with friends. Be sure to tag us in your social media posts @Drawn2getherapp on Twitter and @DrawnTogetherApp on all other platforms.

If you’re a business looking to collaborate, drop us a line at info@popsandbox.com.

  • If you’re a creator or artist who wants to collaborate, we’d love to hear from you. Please link to any relevant materials like a portfolio or sample of your work in your email to info@popsandbox.com. We may occasionally put out calls for artists and creators. During our launch (Winter 2022-2023) we are looking to work with and commission Canadian artists to test DrawnTogether, provide feedback and share their art.

Due to our funder’s mandate to support Canadian talent, we can only commission Canadian artists at this time.

  • We get it, we get a lot of emails too. If you really don’t want to hear from us anymore, hit the unsubscribe button at the bottom of our newsletter. Click here to resubscribe via our website at any time.
