Hi! I'm Joy! I'm an artist and educator based in Toronto, and one half of Potomo Press, a little artist collective I started with my partner! We enjoy making prints and fun apparel. My main artistic practice deals with materials and concepts of the body and place. We really love our cats, Mallow and Miro. Like really love.

Potomo is a made-up portmanteau of Potato and Tomato, nicknames my partner and I gave each other.

Cats and ugly faces. I like the weird stuff behind the façade of cute and silly motifs.

Pastels and neons because those candy colours sure trigger my dopamine receptors.

I spent more time drawing than taking notes during class, so I figure I might as well continue doing it.

Everything! Sometimes it's reaction to something that's happened to my community, sometimes it's things my friends have said. Sometimes it's something that I saw in the grocery store. Sometimes even out of spite but I'm trying to change that.
