I picked it at the dawn of time when signing up for twitter; it's a call back to a teenage online handle, plus "comix" because I wanted to work in comics. I used and "x" at the end instead of an "s" because I am very cool.

Love to draw a skeleton, or a horrible beastie, diagrams of weird places and gangs of intrepid adventurers.

Big fan of blues & oranges in combination. Why? Honestly it's probably half because it just looks great, and half I love saying "blorange". What a great portmanteau.

Of course, how could it now! Learning how to interpert other's ideas in your own way, or just bouncing ideas around really helps flesh out your own creative lexicon.

This was an elementary school staple during rain-days, where we couldn't go outside to play. I mostly drew robots and horses!

A half eaten bean burrito, a cryptic map and a small copper key. The key wouldn't open anything, which I think pretty well encapsulates my sense of humour.

I can't say much right now as it hasn't been officially announced, but I am working on something really fun and special with Maverick, which is the young adult imprint of Mad Cave Studios. So keep your eyes open for more on it soon!
